Programs & Initiatives

Since its establishment in 1895, the Garland Chamber has been an advocate for business success in Garland. The Chamber has implemented a variety of programs through the years to ensure success of small business, manufacturing, retail, leadership and education. At the core of Chamber beliefs is the idea that each of these widely varied sectors depends on the others. Only through growth and achievement in each area can Garland remain truly viable.

As an integral part of the Garland Economic Development Partnership, the founder of the Best Education Foundation, now the Garland Independent School District Education Foundation, the first Chamber to host an office of the Small Business Development Center and the developer of the Dallas County Manufacturers' Association, Women's Business E-nitiative and Leadership Garland, the Chamber has a firm grasp on what is necessary to reach the high goals Garland has set to attain. Education, workforce training, leadership skills and business counseling are the fundamental pieces to a successful business environment, and the Garland Chamber is the common thread among all parts. The Garland Chamber of Commerce is your "Connecting Source."
